Does Nolojia work without internet?
Yes. The till keeps selling when the connection drops. Each sale is saved on the device and sent to your account the moment the signal comes back, so nothing is lost and no sale is recorded twice.
Can I accept M-Pesa payments?
Yes. The cashier can type the M-Pesa code the customer reads out, or send a payment prompt straight to the customer’s phone. The code is kept on the sale and printed on the receipt.
Which payment methods can I record?
M-Pesa, cash, card, bank transfer, cheque and sales on account. A single sale can be split, for example part cash and part M-Pesa. Card payments are taken on your own card machine and recorded in Nolojia with the slip number.
What does it cost?
Start with a 7-day free trial of everything, with no payment details needed. After that it is KES 1,000 a month, paid by M-Pesa, for your whole business: every branch, every person and every product. If you do not pay, nothing is deleted; your records stay yours and you can pay whenever you are ready.
Can my staff steal or change sales?
A sale cannot be edited or deleted once it is made. It can only be voided or refunded, with a reason, by someone you allowed to do it, and the audit log shows who did what and when.
Does it print receipts?
Yes, on 58mm and 80mm thermal printers and on A4. You can also download a PDF or send the receipt on WhatsApp. Your logo, colours, payment details and a message of your choice go on every one.
Is it ready for KRA eTIMS?
Your KRA PIN and VAT are shown on receipts and invoices today. Direct eTIMS submission is being built and tested with KRA, and will be switched on for your account once it is certified.
